This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Our Approach in Short
We collect only the information We need in order to run the Application, and We use it only to provide the Service to You:
- We do not track You across other apps or websites, and We do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not sell, rent or trade Your Personal Data.
- We do not show advertising in the Application and We do not build advertising profiles about You.
- You can delete Your account, and the Personal Data attached to it, directly from inside the Application at any time.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
- Application refers to Autocheck, the software program provided by the Company.
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Autocheck.
- Country refers to: Albania
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service refers to the Application.
- Service Centre means a garage or automotive workshop that uses Autocheck to record services carried out on Your vehicle.
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
- Vehicle Data refers to the information You or a Service Centre record in the Application about a vehicle, such as its identification details and its service history.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Account Data
To create and maintain Your Account, We collect and store the following:
- Email address — required, and used to identify Your Account, to verify it and to recover Your password.
- Full name — optional.
- Phone number — optional, so that a Service Centre can reach You about a service.
- Password — stored only as a cryptographic hash. We never store Your password in a readable form and We cannot recover it.
- Sign-in identifier — if You choose to sign in with Google or with Apple, We store the identifier issued by that provider so that We can recognise You on Your next sign-in.
- Preferences — Your preferred language and currency.
- Device notification token — an identifier issued to Your Device so that We can deliver the notifications You have enabled.
Vehicle Data
The purpose of the Application is to keep the service history of a vehicle. For each vehicle You add, or that a Service Centre records for You, We store:
- Vehicle identification and specification details, such as the vehicle identification number (VIN), licence plate, brand, model, year, engine capacity, power, fuel type, transmission type and colour.
- Mileage readings, a nickname You may give the vehicle, and an optional photograph of the vehicle.
- Service records, maintenance schedules and invoices relating to that vehicle.
- Where a Service Centre registers a vehicle on behalf of a customer, the customer's name and phone number, so that the record can later be linked to that customer's Account.
Some of this information, such as a licence plate or a vehicle identification number, may relate to You as an identifiable individual. We therefore treat Vehicle Data as Personal Data and protect it in the same way.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile operating system, unique device identifiers, the screens of the Application You open, the actions You take in the Application, and other diagnostic data. We use this information to understand how the Application is used and to improve it. It is not used to build an advertising profile and it is not combined with data from other companies.
Information Collected while Using the Application
While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:
- Pictures and other information from your Device's camera and photo library, so that You can attach a photograph to one of Your vehicles.
We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device.
You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to keep the service history of Your vehicles and to monitor the usage of our Service.
- To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
- To contact You: to send You push notifications or emails about matters related to the functioning of the Service, such as maintenance reminders for Your vehicles, account verification, password resets and security notices.
- To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
- To improve the Service: to understand which parts of the Application are used, so that We can fix problems and improve it.
- To comply with the law: to meet a legal obligation, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may share Your personal information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers who process data on Our behalf in order to operate the Service, such as the providers listed in the section below.
- With a Service Centre: when You present Your vehicle for a service, the Service Centre carrying out that service can see the record of that vehicle, so that it can add the work it has performed.
- For legal reasons: We may disclose Your personal information where We are required to do so by law, or in response to a valid request by a public authority.
- For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
- With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell, rent or trade Your Personal Data to anyone.
- We do not track You across apps or websites owned by other companies, and We do not collect advertising identifiers for that purpose.
- We do not display advertising in the Application and We do not share Your Personal Data with advertising networks or data brokers.
- We do not make Your Account or Your Vehicle Data public, and the Application has no public profiles or public areas.
Detailed Information on the Processing of Your Personal Data
The Service Providers We use may have access to Your Personal Data. These third-party vendors collect, store, use, process and transfer information about Your activity on Our Service in accordance with their Privacy Policies.
Analytics
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. Our Application uses Firebase Analytics to record events such as screen views and actions You take in the Application, together with device and usage information, so that We can understand how the Application is used and improve it. We do not use Firebase Analytics for advertising and We do not enable advertising features within it.
You may opt-out of certain Firebase features through Your mobile device settings, such as Your device advertising settings, or by following the instructions provided by Google in their Privacy Policy.

Push Notifications
We may use third-party Service Providers to send You push notifications about Our Service, such as reminders relating to the maintenance of Your vehicles.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Firebase Cloud Messaging is a notification delivery service provided by Google Inc. When You use the Application, a unique device registration token is generated for Your Device and processed by Google Inc. so that notifications can be delivered to You.
You may opt-out of receiving push notifications at any time by changing the notification settings on Your Device, or by disabling notifications for the Application.

Sign-in with Google and Sign-in with Apple
The Application allows You to create an Account, or to sign in to an existing Account, using a Google account or an Apple ID. This is optional: You may always register with an email address and a password instead.
Google Sign-In, provided by Google Inc. If You choose it, Google provides Us with Your email address, Your name and an identifier for Your Google account. We store that identifier so that We can recognise You when You sign in again. Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy
Sign in with Apple, provided by Apple Inc. If You choose it, Apple provides Us with an identifier for Your Apple ID and an email address, which may be a private relay address if You choose to hide Your real one. Apple's Privacy Policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
We receive this information from the provider only when You choose to use it, and We use it only to create and identify Your Account.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed on Our servers and on the servers of the Service Providers described above. Those providers may process Your information in countries other than the one in which You live, and where data-protection laws may differ from those of Your country.
Where Personal Data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, We rely on the safeguards offered by the relevant provider, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete the Personal Data that We hold about You, and You can do it Yourself at any time.
- From inside the Application: open Your profile and choose Delete Account. After You confirm, Your Account and the Personal Data attached to it are deleted on Our servers and You are signed out.
- By contacting Us: You may also ask Us to delete Your Personal Data using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Policy.
Please note that We may need to retain certain information where We have a legal obligation or a lawful basis to do so, for example a service record that a Service Centre is required to keep.
Your Rights
If You are in the European Economic Area, You have the following rights in relation to Your Personal Data:
- Access — to be told what Personal Data We hold about You and to receive a copy of it.
- Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data corrected. Most of Your information can be corrected directly in Your profile in the Application.
- Erasure — to have Your Personal Data deleted, as described in the section above.
- Restriction — to ask Us to limit how We process Your Personal Data.
- Portability — to receive Your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Objection — to object to Our processing of Your Personal Data.
- Withdrawal of consent — where We rely on Your consent, to withdraw it at any time. You can, for example, disable notifications or revoke access to Your camera and photo library in Your Device settings.
- Complaint — to lodge a complaint with Your national data-protection authority.

Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. Data exchanged between the Application and Our servers is transmitted over encrypted connections, and passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
